Kill Die
Kill Die
About
Kill Die is a simple game where you use a die to kill all the other dice. This is the first Unity game which I have made, and it is based off the theme "Roll of the Dice" from the GMTK 2022 game jam. I made it over the course of the last week after work and on the weekends, and I would appreciate any and all constructive feedback and general discussion!
How to Play
Controls
- Use wasd/arrow keys to move
- Press escape to pause
- Hit enter to confirm a menu option
Rules
Kill all other dice to finish a level.
Dice can be attacked by moving into them while they are in an adjacent tile. The value on top of your die when attacking is the damage you will deal. After attacking, the die will flip to its other side (the top becomes the bottom)
Collecting a heart will heal 5hp, and collecting a gem will make your next attack deal double damage. Enemies cannot collect these powerups.

the game is pretty good until the last level where there is no way to survive, you can either die or vanish into the ether. please fix this and maybe add a movable screen so you can change positions. also more levels would be good if the disappearing problem is solved. thank you.
oof yeah i see what you mean, I'll fix that bug as soon as i get a chance, there's supposed to be a menu that comes up to tell you you won. Thanks for the comment!
Thank you for caring to reply! I really love the concept and how it feels like a familiar board game you would play as a young lad. I've probably spent a good hour or two figuring out how it works with my dear brother and it has given me good memories for a lifetime. hope you keep working on it, and if you don't then thank you for making a good game!
